Senior Application Developer - Securitized Products (Java & .NET)

Location: Madison Ave Corp, United States of America. Applicants must be legally authorized to work full-time in the United States without employer sponsorship.

Annual base pay: $175,000–$220,000 USD.

What you will do

• Develop, enhance, maintain, and support business-critical ASP.NET applications, APIs, backend services, and SQL Server solutions.
• Support trading, operations, risk, market data, reporting, and regulatory workflows for Fixed Income and Securitized Products.
• Lead production troubleshooting, root cause analysis, performance optimization, and application stability initiatives.
• Translate business requirements from traders, operations teams, product owners, and technology stakeholders into reliable technical solutions.
• Contribute to modernization, automation, technical debt reduction, effort estimation, and risk management.
• Mentor junior and mid-level developers while promoting engineering best practices and code quality.

Requirements

• 9+ years of information technology, technical application development, or similar experience.
• 7+ years of hands-on enterprise application development and support using C#/.NET, with hands-on Java experience.
• Strong expertise in C#, Java, .NET Framework/.NET Core, ASP.NET MVC, web applications, RESTful APIs, backend services, object-oriented design, and design patterns.
• Advanced Microsoft SQL Server experience, including T-SQL, stored procedures, query optimization, database troubleshooting, and data analysis.
• Functional understanding of Fixed Income and securitized products, including MBS, ABS, CMBS, CMO, trading workflows, pricing, valuation, settlement, market data, and reporting.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience, training, military service, or education.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting Capital Markets, Fixed Income, or Securitized Products trading businesses in an investment banking environment.
• Experience with front-office and middle-office trading platforms.
• Familiarity with Bloomberg, market data feeds, security master platforms, and trade processing ecosystems.
