What you will do

• Analyze capability gaps and vulnerabilities in mission-critical Air Force COMSEC and cryptographic systems across airborne, ground, cyber, space, and weapons platforms.
• Research directives, threat assessments, prior studies, and warfighter feedback to identify bandwidth, SWaP, net readiness, and other operational gaps.
• Conduct document reviews and develop requirements, Study Plans, Study Guidance, and Analyses of Alternatives.
• Evaluate modernization alternatives and recommend solutions that mitigate cryptographic vulnerabilities and improve deployed warfighter capabilities.
• Develop roadmaps, architecture and requirements documentation, fielding strategies, and configuration-change recommendations.
• Prepare briefings, information papers, staff studies, progress updates, and other documentation while coordinating with government and cross-functional stakeholders.

Requirements

• Active TS clearance with SCI/SAP eligibility.
• At least 3 years of comprehensive experience managing the full lifecycle of Department of Defense operational requirements, including analysis, validation, and documentation of capability gaps within JCIDS.
• Expertise initiating and processing configuration changes to fielded systems through the Air Force AF Form 1067 modification process.
• Experience leading Capabilities-Based Analyses and providing oversight for formal Analyses of Alternatives.
• At least 2 years of advanced staff experience coordinating cross-functional teams, document reviews, program updates, and background papers using TMT or comparable staff coordination standards.
