TL;DR
Flight Operations Analyst (Aviation Operations): Supporting AETC flying training squadrons through standardization and evaluation, aircrew training, and flight scheduling/programming with an accent on compliance, training records, and operational coordination. Focus on scheduling aircraft, academics, training devices, and crew complements while maintaining qualification, currency, and training requirements.

What you will do

  • Create, update, review, and maintain flight evaluation folders, training records, and related documentation.
  • Maintain compliance with Air Force, AETC, MAJCOM, syllabus, and local standardization and evaluation guidance.
  • Support faculty upgrade, development, currency, qualification closeout, and local aircrew training and testing programs.
  • Prepare and monitor waiver requests related to staffing and training requirements.
  • Schedule aircraft, academics, ground duties, training devices, and crew complements to meet flying and ground-training requirements.
  • Coordinate with instructors, aircrew, and government personnel in support of AETC flying training squadrons.

Requirements

  • Active Secret security clearance
  • Prior experience in aviation operations, flight operations, or military flying units.
  • Experience with flight scheduling, training scheduling, or operational coordination.
  • Experience supporting or working within a DoD or military aviation environment.
  • Strong attention to detail when managing schedules, records, and operational data.
  • Ability to work effectively with instructors, aircrew, and government personnel in a structured environment.

Nice to have

  • Experience supporting AETC flying training squadrons or Standardization and Evaluation processes.
  • Experience with GTIMS or similar training management systems.
  • Background as an Aviation Operations Specialist, instructor, or scheduler.
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree, completed or in progress.
  • PMP or CompTIA Security+ certification.
