What you will do

• Deliver MH-60R aircraft systems and operational procedures instruction in classrooms, full-motion simulators, and practical training environments.
• Conduct simulator-based training, including briefings, debriefings, device and systems training, and computer-aided instruction.
• Develop, review, update, and maintain curricula, syllabi, tests, lesson plans, trainee guides, and mission scenarios.
• Evaluate and document student training and mission performance, recommending improvements to the training program.
• Support training-device testing, discrepancy validation, corrective actions, airworthiness boards, and qualification activities.
• Perform administrative, scheduling, safety, security, quality-assurance, record-keeping, and training-equipment duties.

Requirements

• At least 500 command hours on a multi-engine, multi-crew, medium H-60 helicopter or an agreed equivalent.
• At least two years of instructional experience in a military rotary-wing aircrew training environment.
• At least one sea-going tour with the USN, RAN, or RN, plus previous anti-submarine and surface-warfare experience.
• Eligibility for a DoD Personal Security Clearance and authorization as a competent MH-60R simulator instructor.
• Ability to maintain annual Authority to Instruct certification, pass periodic instructor assessments, and participate in peer reviews.
• Ability to work overtime and any shift or day of the week, enter and move within simulators, and stand while instructing for up to six hours daily.
