Senior Data and Systems Manager (Data Analytics)

Location: Washington, District of Columbia, United States; on-site. Candidates must reside in the Washington, D.C. area full-time and be able to travel intermittently across the continental United States in support of ORR-funded programs.

What you will do

• Perform quantitative and qualitative analysis to identify trends, performance indicators, and outcomes.
• Maintain and automate data systems using R, Python, and SQL for data extraction and transformation.
• Create and maintain real-time program dashboards using Tableau, Palantir, and Salesforce.
• Ensure programmatic data quality, organization, and completeness through rigorous quality control.
• Provide help desk and systems support by triaging application issues, troubleshooting complex cases, and escalating problems when needed.
• Manage relational databases and APIs, fulfill reporting requests, support forecasting and modeling, and assist with technology modernization.

Requirements

• At least 7 years of relevant experience in data science, systems management, or IT operations.
• At least 3 years of supervisory or team lead experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Must reside full-time in the Washington, D.C. area and be able to travel within the continental United States.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in a relevant subject.
• Technical certifications such as SQL, Tableau, or Salesforce certifications.
