Information Security Engineer (maternity cover)

What you will do

• Implement and maintain perimeter security controls, including firewall policies, WAF, DDoS protection, and cloud security guardrails across AWS, GCP, and Azure.
• Manage network security controls such as segmentation, email security, mobile security, web proxies, IDS/IPS, and network patching.
• Deploy and improve endpoint protection, DLP, and EDR solutions while addressing vulnerabilities.
• Integrate security practices into the SDLC through code repository, CI/CD pipeline, and application security reviews.
• Implement encryption and data protection mechanisms and support GDPR, PCI-DSS, and ISO 27001 compliance activities.
• Configure SOC alerts and detection mechanisms, support incident response, perform root cause analysis, and implement remediation strategies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Hands-on experience implementing controls across perimeter, network, endpoint, application, and data security.
• Experience with at least one major public cloud platform: AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Experience in security operations and incident response.
• Experience with firewalls, WAF, DDoS protection, IDS/IPS, EDR, DLP, email security, and web proxies.
• Understanding of cloud, network, endpoint, and application security, plus relevant regulatory and security standards.

Nice to have

• Experience with CI/CD, IaC, Terraform, CloudFormation, GitLab, GitHub, Azure DevOps, or DevSecOps.
• CISSP, CISM, or an equivalent certification.
