Security Engineer (Cloud Security)

What you will do

• Build and improve security capabilities across AWS and Kubernetes environments.
• Develop automation, guardrails, and controls that enable secure engineering at scale.
• Own, operate, integrate, monitor, and improve security tools and services.
• Identify security gaps and implement practical engineering solutions.
• Embed security controls into CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code, and engineering workflows.
• Investigate cloud and application security issues and partner with Platform Engineering and product teams on secure architecture.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience in security engineering or cloud security.
• Practical AWS experience, including IAM, networking, logging, and cloud-native services.
• Good understanding of Kubernetes, containers, and modern cloud-native architectures.
• Hands-on experience with AI/LLM security, AI-assisted development environments, or agentic systems.
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code and CI/CD tools such as Terraform, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.
• Solid networking and security fundamentals, with the ability to investigate risks and build practical solutions.

Nice to have

• Experience with CSPM, CNAPP, or cloud runtime security platforms such as Wiz.
• Experience with Python, Go, or other scripting languages.
• Experience with application security or secure software development.
