Content Writer (Mid-Weight)

Location: London, England, United Kingdom. Hybrid work with two days in the office per week; predominantly remote otherwise.

What you will do

• Write engaging content for social channels and produce short- and long-form storytelling for social and digital placements.
• Lead the creation and delivery of high-impact editorial calendars.
• Develop compelling stories with creatives, producers, video editors, and co-creators.
• Interpret client briefs and create content plans and campaign proposals with strategists and creatives.
• Adapt ideas and copy to different social platforms, accounting for their nuances and tones.
• Support editorial and strategy colleagues in aligning brand propositions with wider content output.

Requirements

• Clear, concise, accurate, and grammatically correct writing skills.
• Strong understanding of storytelling for short-form content and experience writing for different social channels, including dark formats.
• Ability to adapt content ideas and tone across brands, sectors, and audiences.
• Understanding of commercial content, audience insights, cultural trends, advertising, and branded content.
• Experience working in a creative environment, with strong interpersonal, organisational, and multitasking skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively while remaining proactive and detail-oriented.

Nice to have

• Experience creating content ideas for Reddit, Twitch, and Discord.
• Experience preparing shot lists, writing scripts, and attending client shoots.
• Understanding of video editing capabilities or experience with social editing tools.
• Ability to present ideas in slide format.
