Operations Intelligence Support Analyst (OSINT)

What you will do

• Provide expert open-source intelligence analysis and advisory support to the 9AF (AFCENT) Intelligence Directorate.
• Lead the systematic collection of publicly available information across the USCENTCOM area of responsibility.
• Develop collection strategies, plans, tools, methodologies, metadata schemas, and information-discoverability processes.
• Integrate intelligence data and produce briefings, tipper reports, presentations, OSINT summaries, and social-media roll-ups.
• Provide near-real-time threat warning and research support for priority intelligence requirements and long-term products.
• Coordinate with national, international, service, combatant command, and wing intelligence organizations while maintaining relevant intelligence accesses.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or eight years of directly relevant intelligence-analysis experience.
• At least eight years of tactical or operational analytical experience within the Department of Defense or equivalent government agencies.
• Former qualifying military intelligence specialty experience, including MOS 35F, 350F, 18F, 35D, 34A, or equivalent intelligence roles.
• Proficiency with standard computer applications, intelligence automation, social-media platforms, analytical products, and briefings.
• Farsi language capability is required, with independently tested listening, reading, writing, and translation ability at DPLT or ILR level 2/2 according to unit needs.
• Ability to work in an analytical team, travel to CJOA-C for training, and complete OS 1 training and the Introduction to Middle East Cultural Study within three months if not already completed.
