Materials Compliance Engineer

What you will do

• Assess materials and parts against REACH, ELV, SCIP, and internal compliance requirements.
• Collect, analyze, and manage IMDS and MSDS data, including substance impact and authorization analysis.
• Conduct supplier surveys and evaluate chemical management processes.
• Develop action plans to eliminate regulated substances and improve compliance workflows.
• Update CATIA drawings and perform CAE structural modifications using customer-specific tools.
• Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to maintain design quality and regulatory compliance.

Requirements

• 1–5 years of experience in product compliance, regulatory affairs, or material assessment.
• Experience in automotive, aerospace, or manufacturing industries.
• Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science and Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or Aerospace Engineering.
• Good knowledge of EU regulations, especially REACH.
• Professional proficiency in French and English required.
• Strong analytical, communication, negotiation, attention-to-detail, and problem-solving skills.
