Location: UK-based candidates must live within a commutable distance of the UK offices in Milton Park, Oxfordshire, or London Blackfriars to support the balanced working model and attend the office as required. Candidates must have the right to live and work in the UK. The Milton Park office is expected to relocate to Oxford city centre in late 2027 or early 2028.

What you will do
- Lead go-to-market marketing strategies for academic publishing products and define target markets, customer segments, and value propositions.
- Own customer activation across academic institutions, researchers, librarians, and consortia to drive adoption, retention, and revenue.
- Design and optimize multi-channel campaigns across SEO, SEM, email, social media, and content marketing.
- Conduct market research and develop competitive intelligence to inform product development and go-to-market planning.
- Lead external communications, thought leadership content, industry representation, and stakeholder relationships.
- Build and mentor a high-performing go-to-market marketing and communications team while establishing KPIs and reporting to senior leadership.
Requirements
- Deep experience in product marketing and communications, including extensive senior leadership experience in a global organization.
- Strong commercial acumen with a revenue- and margin-focused approach to business strategy.
- Ability to develop targeted value propositions and marketing strategies across diverse customer segments and geographies.
- Credibility and influence with C-suite executives, internal stakeholders, customers, and external partners.
- Experience selecting, implementing, and driving adoption of CRM, BI, sales enablement, and marketing automation technology.
- Strong communication, leadership, analytical, planning, and financial management skills.
