NextGen Project Engineer (Electrical Engineering)

Location: Phoenix, AZ / El Mirage, AZ; indoor office, outdoor industrial site, and fabrication shop work required.

What you will do

• Collaborate with Project Managers on project scope, schedules, budgets, and technical execution.
• Design, review, and oversee the installation of electrical systems for mission-critical and data center projects.
• Create and maintain technical drawings, specifications, reports, and other project documentation.
• Coordinate with project teams, contractors, subcontractors, and clients.
• Conduct inspections and quality-control checks, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
• Resolve technical issues and provide clients with technical support.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience as a Project Engineer, preferably in electrical construction, or a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems and engineering principles.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD or other design software.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Commitment to safety and quality.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of office, industrial-site, and fabrication-shop work, with reasonable accommodation available where applicable.
