TL;DR
Senior .NET Software Engineer (.NET): Building and scaling a multi-tenant B2B subscription commerce platform with an accent on high-performance services, billing integrations, clean architecture, and reliable database interactions. Focus on owning features from design through deployment, solving scalability and observability challenges, and improving legacy systems through refactoring or rewriting.
Location: Remote; work-from-anywhere scheme with optional ad hoc in-person meet-ups

What you will do
- Develop and enhance .NET web applications using .NET Framework 4.8, .NET 10, and C#.
- Design, build, and optimize SQL Server database interactions, including queries, stored procedures, performance tuning, and SSRS.
- Own features end to end across analysis, architecture, implementation, testing, deployment, and production observability.
- Build scalable services and integrations with major software vendors, APIs, billing systems, and subscription management workflows.
- Maintain CI/CD pipelines, improve system quality, and make informed refactoring versus rewriting decisions.
- Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, QA, automation testers, and DevOps while mentoring teammates and supporting peer-led code reviews.
Requirements
- 6+ years of hands-on .NET engineering experience, assessed based on depth and practical expertise.
- Experience with .NET Framework 4.8, .NET 10, and C#.
- Strong SQL Server skills and knowledge of HTTP, JSON, and RESTful API principles.
- Experience building high-traffic applications with a focus on performance and scalability.
- Understanding of SOLID principles, design patterns, CI/CD, deployment automation, unit testing, and integration testing.
- Fluency in Greek and English, both oral and written; a university degree in computer science or a related field is required.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of message brokers such as RabbitMQ and Apache Kafka.
- Experience with billing and subscription management systems, including lifecycles, cancellations, and asynchronous call handling.
