Senior Engineer 2 - Site Reliability Engineering (Hybrid, Seattle)

Location: Hybrid in the Seattle, Washington area; onsite at the hirify.global Seattle office at least 4 days per week is required.

Salary: $166,000–$258,000 annual

What you will do

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure systems meet operational excellence standards.
• Lead the design and implementation of reliability and operational excellence projects.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot incidents to maintain reliability and scalability.
• Develop tools and automation to improve system performance and operational efficiency.
• Mentor engineers on site reliability engineering best practices.
• Participate in on-call rotations and maintain system and procedure documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of software engineering experience focused on site reliability or infrastructure.
• Proficiency with Kubernetes and containerization technologies.
• Experience with Java, Go, or Python and cloud providers such as AWS, GCP, and Azure.
• Strong networking knowledge, including network protocols, problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Willingness to work onsite in the Seattle office at least 4 days per week.
