What you will do

• Lead antibody discovery programs from hit identification and screening through lead selection and candidate nomination.
• Design antigen engineering strategies and immunization approaches for challenging therapeutic targets.
• Provide technical leadership across B cell-based discovery, immune repertoire screening, hybridoma, VHH, and multispecific antibody programs.
• Evaluate and implement AI-enabled workflows, machine learning, computational biology, and laboratory automation technologies.
• Direct discovery campaigns involving internal capabilities and external partners while identifying and mitigating scientific and operational risks.
• Mentor scientists and contribute to publications, patents, presentations, and external collaborations.

Requirements

• BS, MS, or PhD in immunology, biochemistry, molecular biology, bioinformatics, or a related scientific field.
• Typically 6+ years of industry experience with a PhD, 12+ with an MS, or 14+ with a BS.
• Deep hands-on expertise in single B cell cloning, immune repertoire screening, hybridoma, or related antibody discovery platforms.
• Extensive experience designing antigens and immunization strategies, plus expertise in screening cascades, lead triage, and lead selection.
• Experience with VHH discovery platforms using camelids and transgenic systems, as well as antibody engineering, developability, and sequence liability assessment.
• Ability to evaluate new discovery technologies and collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.

Nice to have

• Experience with rabbit antibody discovery workflows.
• Knowledge of bioinformatics pipelines and NGS data analysis.
• Familiarity with computational antibody discovery, AI/ML-enabled design, and laboratory automation.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary discovery teams and complex scientific programs.
