IT Security Analyst I (Cybersecurity)

What you will do

• Promote company-wide IT security best practices and maintain the security awareness program.
• Investigate security breaches and other cybersecurity incidents.
• Conduct internal and external security audits and ensure infrastructure compliance with 21 CFR Part 11, GDPR, SOPs, and industry practices.
• Manage network security, intrusion detection and prevention systems, and network access controls.
• Perform vulnerability assessments and security testing, then coordinate remediation and mitigation for company-wide assets.
• Research and recommend improvements to security infrastructure, IPS, UTM, and overall system integrity.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and experience in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• 1–2 years of significant information security experience, or 3–5 years of IT Operations experience in a modern IT environment.
• Hands-on experience with Fortinet solutions, vulnerability scanning, antivirus and malware analysis, IDS, IPS, log correlation tools, and NAC.
• Knowledge of access lists, subnet masks, subnetting, IP routing, and security configurations for VMware and Microsoft Windows Server.
• Familiarity with machine learning concepts and experience identifying and mitigating network vulnerabilities.
• Excellent English communication skills required. Security+ certification or a commitment to obtain it quickly is expected.
