Junior Security Engineer – Cloud Foundation

What you will do

• Implement and maintain cloud security controls across AWS, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, agentic infrastructure, and self-managed systems.
• Participate in cloud security assessments, identify security gaps, and support remediation recommendations.
• Contribute to vulnerability management by tracking findings, supporting remediation, and communicating with stakeholders.
• Write and maintain scripts to automate routine security tasks and improve operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with DevOps, R&D, and Product teams to implement secure solutions and meet security and compliance requirements.
• Help secure AI agentic infrastructure, including agent permissions, tool access, and data flows, while documenting processes and learnings.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Security, or a related field.
• Foundational understanding of cloud computing and security principles such as authentication, authorization, encryption, and network security.
• Familiarity with Linux/Unix systems and basic command-line operations.
• Strong willingness to learn, problem-solving ability, attention to detail, and effective collaboration skills.
• Good written and verbal English is required.

Nice to have

• Internship, project, or course experience in cybersecurity, cloud computing, or DevOps.
• Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, Infrastructure-as-Code, Terraform, or CloudFormation.
• Familiarity with GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, and CI/CD concepts.
• Participation in CTF competitions, bug bounty programs, or security clubs.
• Awareness of ISO, NIST, or OWASP security standards and frameworks.
