Automation & Robotics Intern (AI)

Location: Onsite in Wuxi, China. Travel is not required.

What you will do

• Support the development and evaluation of robotics, AI, and vision-based solutions.
• Validate algorithms and logic for perception, motion planning, and task execution.
• Collect and analyze data and support model validation for robotics applications.
• Identify automation scenarios, assess feasibility, and support robot deployment on the shop floor.
• Test, debug, integrate, and troubleshoot robotics solutions during pilot projects and real-world implementation.
• Track project progress and support end-to-end delivery of automation initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s student in robotics, automation, AI, mechatronics, or electrical engineering.
• Programming skills in Python, C++, ROS, and OpenCV.
• Basic knowledge of robotics, including kinematics, control, and sensors.
• Hands-on experience with robotics or automation projects.
• Familiarity with debugging, testing, and integration processes.
• Strong problem-solving skills, a hands-on attitude, and the ability to work in cross-functional teams.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with AI, computer vision, or simulation.
• Experience with PLCs or industrial systems.
