What you will do

• Deliver individualized virtual instruction tailored to each student's goals, accommodations, and learning profile.
• Create structured lesson plans aligned with grade-level standards and specific required modifications.
• Adapt instruction in real time based on student progress and engagement.
• Track student progress and maintain communication with families and school district partners.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (degree in Education, Psychology, or a related field preferred).
• Experience working with students with learning disabilities, ADHD, autism spectrum disorder, or other special education needs.
• Familiarity with IEPs, 504 plans, and common accommodations (e.g., extended time, multi-sensory approaches).
• Ability to design and deliver lesson plans aligned to student goals.
• Strong virtual instruction skills, including comfort with video conferencing and digital whiteboards.
• Ability to pass a background check.

Nice to have

• Active or previous teaching credential, especially in Special Education.
• Experience with Orton-Gillingham, Wilson Reading, or structured literacy methodologies.
• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English.
