Senior R&D Engineer - Electrical, Electronics & Physics

Location: Teparuk, Thailand

hirify.global Technology develops and manufactures data storage technologies, including nano-recording heads for hard disk drives.

What you will do

• Develop, qualify, and deploy hardware and software test applications and tools for design feedback and test process control.
• Collaborate with Test Development, R&D Operations, and Design teams on test platform development.
• Conduct magnetic recording experiments to characterize performance and reliability.
• Analyze large datasets and compare expected performance with experimental results.
• Present findings to Recording Head Development teams.
• Develop engineering solutions using established techniques and exercise independent judgment in methods and evaluation criteria.

Requirements

• MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Mechatronics, or a related field.
• Good understanding of electromagnetics and electronics.
• Programming experience with Python and C.
• Experience with automated data collection, data processing, and analysis of large datasets.
• Strong communication, presentation, planning, prioritization, and ownership skills.
• Fluent spoken and written English communication is required.

Nice to have

• Experience using measurement equipment such as oscilloscopes and spectrum analyzers.
