Data Trust Security Analysis Intern (Postgraduate Internship)

hirify.global develops storage technologies, with the Seagate Research Group researching trustworthy storage solutions for the datasphere.

What you will do

• Research emerging cryptographic, biometric, authentication, and data-security technologies.
• Develop proof-of-concept implementations and prototypes for security projects.
• Experiment with and benchmark innovative security concepts.
• Analyze the threat landscape and state-of-the-art technologies.
• Collaborate with Seagate Research’s global team.
• Work on hardware or embedded-system projects involving data security.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing postgraduate studies in mathematics, cryptography, computer science, information systems and analytics, bioengineering, or technology.
• Exposure to cybersecurity, cryptography, bioengineering, coding, or programming.
• Knowledge or experience in cryptography, data security, biometrics, or bioinformatics.
• Experience creating or building hardware or PCBs for security-related embedded systems.
• Good communication skills, teamwork, and eagerness to learn.
• Availability for a full-time semester internship from January through June.

Nice to have

• Development experience in a Linux environment.
