Fractional CFO (Mental Health)

Location: Remote; European time zone preferred, with occasional travel for banking, notarial, or advisor meetings.

What you will do

• Design and maintain holding-company and operating structures across 2–4 jurisdictions in the EU and APAC.
• Coordinate tax architecture, transfer pricing, BEPS, ATAD, CRS, substance requirements, and external legal and tax counsel.
• Build source-of-funds and source-of-wealth documentation, maintain KYC and AML files, and prepare financial due-diligence materials.
• Establish banking and EMI relationships, control payment authority, manage FX exposure and liquidity, and maintain rolling cash-flow visibility.
• Introduce FP&A, management accounting, cost controls, KPI dashboards, unit-economics frameworks, and project-level reporting.
• Define financial policies, approval limits, segregation of duties, procurement workflows, and audit trails for a small team.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience designing multi-jurisdiction holding structures, ideally across both the EU and APAC.
• Working command of BEPS, ATAD, CRS, substance requirements, and transfer pricing sufficient to direct external advisors.
• Experience establishing banking and EMI relationships for cross-border groups and preparing source-of-funds, KYC/AML, and investor due-diligence documentation.
• Experience building FP&A and management-reporting functions, financial models, unit economics, and project-level P&Ls.
• Ability to deliver senior-level output part-time and remotely without a team underneath.
• Precision with documentation, approvals, payment controls, and financial processes.

Nice to have

• Background in a venture builder, family office, fund, or multi-entity group.
• Experience in sectors subject to heightened banking, regulatory, or sanctions scrutiny.
