Working Student - Operations Analyst (Logistics)

Location: Munich, Germany; hybrid work with 60% of time in the office and 40% at home. Option to work abroad for up to 20 days in approved countries.

Salary: 16 EUR per hour.

What you will do

• Gather, clean, organise, and validate data on assortment, capacity, lead times, and demand.
• Support strategic logistics network models and scenario analyses, including status quo, target network, and sensitivity scenarios.
• Document model assumptions, logic, governance details, processes, Wiki pages, and onboarding materials.
• Build dashboards with Python, Plotly, Streamlit, Tableau, or Power BI to monitor data quality, model inputs, outputs, and KPIs.
• Automate repeatable data tasks and create validation checks for assortment, SKU curves, throughput, and timelines.
• Prepare presentations and communicate findings through tables, charts, and bullet points.

Requirements

• Enrolled student with at least six months remaining in the programme.
• Studies in logistics, supply chain, data science, operations research, industrial engineering, economics, or a related field.
• Strong analytical abilities and an interest in data-driven problem solving, modelling, and scenario planning.
• Strong proficiency in Excel; experience with Python, SQL, Tableau, or Power BI is advantageous.
• Structured, reliable, communicative, and eager to learn.
• Availability for 20 hours per week for six months; English proficiency required.
