Manager, Visual Merchandising - Fashion

Location: Bentonville, Arkansas, United States; domestic travel to multiple facilities or worksites, including overnight travel, may be required.

Annual salary: $80,000–$155,000, plus performance-based bonus awards and possible stock compensation.

What you will do

• Develop and execute visual merchandising strategies that improve the customer experience and support sales growth across Walmart Fashion.
• Translate customer insights, fashion trends, business priorities, and merchant strategies into scalable, store-ready presentation solutions.
• Partner with Merchandising & Design, Marketing, Retail Brand Experience, Communications & Training, Styling, Store Operations, and Space Planning.
• Lead seasonal floor sets, key campaigns, and visual merchandising initiatives from planning through on-time execution.
• Create presentations that encourage outfitting, cross-category shopping, customer discovery, and seasonal storytelling.
• Improve presentation standards, processes, and ways of working using sales performance, customer insights, competitive trends, and store feedback.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in visual merchandising, including corporate visual merchandising and in-store visual presentation execution.
• Experience developing and executing customer-first visual merchandising strategies in a retail environment.
• Strong organizational, project management, communication, prioritization, and cross-functional influencing skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, and SharePoint.
• Bachelor’s degree in Visual Merchandising, Fashion Merchandising, Marketing, Communications, Design, Business, Fine Arts, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Ability to travel domestically to multiple facilities or worksites, including overnight travel as needed.

Nice to have

• Experience in big-box, specialty, department store, or omnichannel retail.
• Experience with Apparel, Accessories, or Fashion businesses.
• Familiarity with planograms, modular development, and space planning.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams, managing visual merchandising projects, or supporting print production.
• Strong understanding of retail trends, customer shopping behavior, and visual storytelling.
