Director, Enterprise Systems & Architecture (AI)

What you will do

• Define and maintain the enterprise architecture roadmap across commercial, financial, and go-to-market systems, including Salesforce, NetSuite, Zendesk, Snowflake, Orb, and related platforms.
• Design and govern integrations using event-driven, API-first, and middleware patterns, including data contracts, system topology, data flows, and architecture decision records.
• Lead architecture reviews, build-versus-buy evaluations, platform selection, and technical governance for major enterprise system changes.
• Build and operate infrastructure for AI agents and automated workflows, including governed identity, API gateways, secrets management, logging, reconciliation, and observability.
• Ensure enterprise systems and AI operations meet SOX IT General Controls, GDPR/CCPA, security, privacy, and data governance requirements.
• Directly manage Salesforce administrators and NetSuite techno-functional resources while developing the broader business systems capability and governing vendors and contractors.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in enterprise architecture, business systems, or platform engineering, with ownership of multi-system environments in a public or compliance-regulated company.
• Production experience deploying, monitoring, and governing AI agents or LLM-powered workflows, including prompt versioning, agent identity management, and audit logging.
• Deep Salesforce architecture and governance experience, including data models, integrations, and access controls, plus strong architectural and operational knowledge of NetSuite and Snowflake.
• Experience operating API gateways, secrets management, identity-based access controls, integration architectures, workflow versioning, GitOps, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong knowledge of SOX IT General Controls and application controls, including producing control evidence in a public company environment within the last three years.
• Experience managing multifunctional business systems or platform teams and communicating with technical teams, senior business leaders, and external auditors.

Nice to have

• Architecture and security frameworks for responsible AI usage.
• Design and governance experience with iPaaS or middleware platforms such as Fivetran, Polytomic, MuleSoft, Boomi, or Celigo.
• Master data management, data governance, analytics architecture, or BI platform experience, including Tableau.
• Salesforce or NetSuite certifications.
• Experience in public or large enterprise technology environments with compliance and audit requirements.
