Senior Analyst, Automated Clearing House (ACH) Operations

Location: Chicago, Illinois, United States; hybrid arrangement with at least 1 day per week onsite at 70 W Madison St, Floor 9. Candidates must be legally eligible to work at the specified location.

Salary: $70,000–$80,000 USD annually, based on experience, qualifications, and location. Additional incentive compensation may apply.

What you will do

• Monitor daily ACH file activity and resolve processing exceptions.
• Process reversals, deletions, returns, rejects, and corporate and consumer disputes.
• Respond to client inquiries and research requests while coordinating with internal partners and external financial institutions.
• Support audit, compliance, policy, procedure, and training activities.
• Participate in testing and implementation of new ACH products, services, and system enhancements.
• Prepare reports and analysis to track performance, identify trends, and support business decisions.

Requirements

• 5–10 years of banking and ACH processing experience, including payments operations and exception handling.
• Strong analytical thinking, critical thinking, accuracy, prioritization, and documentation skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data gathering, spreadsheet creation, formulas, and reporting.
• Ability to learn new systems and applications quickly.
• Legal eligibility to work in the United States at the specified location is required; employment sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Experience with system conversions, implementations, testing, and process improvement initiatives.
• Accredited ACH Professional (AAP) certification.
• College degree.
