Senior Computer Vision Engineer (AI)

Location: Remote within the United States, including California

Salary: $170,000–$200,000 USD per year plus equity

What you will do

• Design, implement, and optimize deep learning, computer vision, and vision-language models for retail edge deployments.
• Translate exploratory research into production-grade pipelines through hypothesis-driven, evidence-based analysis.
• Optimize neural-network inference for high-throughput, low-latency execution with TensorRT and custom CUDA primitives.
• Containerize and deploy ML pipelines with Docker across cloud and edge or embedded environments.
• Use AI-assisted development tools to improve engineering throughput and productivity.

Requirements

• 8+ years of industry experience delivering production-grade computer vision systems.
• Strong academic and research background at Master's or Ph.D. level in computer science, robotics, electrical or computer engineering, or a related field.
• Deep expertise in PyTorch, custom deep-learning or graphics architectures, and vision-language models.
• Hands-on experience with TensorRT, CUDA optimization, and low-level GPU acceleration.
• Production-grade Python skills and strong C++ capability for high-performance components.
• Experience with dense image registration and warping algorithms, plus a structured analytical approach to computer vision innovation.
