  • Develop electrical architectures, system diagrams, and power, telemetry, channel-count, size, and mass budgets.
  • Analyze faults and risks, create mitigation plans, and support FDIR and operational workarounds.
  • Plan and conduct verification for flight and HITL avionics hardware, supporting launch, space operations, and reentry missions.
  • Lead avionics integration investigations and participate in mission operations as an avionics specialist or system operator.
  • Build and operate HITL testbeds and avionics ground infrastructure while improving test automation and mentoring engineers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in system design, test planning, and validation.
  • Proficiency in Python programming and debugging.
  • Experience with power supplies, modular DAQ systems, RTD and 4–20 mA devices, and general test equipment.
  • U.S. work authorization and U.S. person status required due to ITAR-controlled technology access.

Nice to have

  • Experience taking vehicle electrical systems from concept to operational production.
  • Experience setting up HITL testbeds, managing configuration control, and conducting system-level tests.
  • Unix command-line experience and familiarity with developing test cases and equipment for vehicle operating conditions.
  • Strong project or program management skills.

Culture & Benefits

  • Flexible PTO and 12 paid holidays.
  • Company-paid medical, dental, and vision insurance, with FSA and employer-matched HSA options.
  • Parental leave, family-building benefits, wellness reimbursement, and One Medical memberships.
