What you will do

• Develop complete plumbing construction documents for domestic hot and cold water, sanitary waste and vent, and storm drainage systems.
• Create detailed plumbing layouts and documentation in Revit and AutoCAD.
• Apply national and local plumbing codes to design layouts and calculations.
• Coordinate plumbing models and drawings with HVAC, electrical, fire protection, architectural, and project management teams.
• Identify and resolve spatial clashes using BIM coordination workflows.
• Review shop drawings, respond to contractor RFIs, and visit project sites to evaluate existing conditions and support construction.

Requirements

• 10+ years of practical plumbing design experience, or 5+ years combined with an associate degree in a related technical discipline.
• Extensive experience designing waste and vent, domestic hot and cold water, and storm water systems.
• Proficiency with Revit and AutoCAD.
• Working knowledge of clash detection, clash resolution, and multidisciplinary building systems coordination.
• Working knowledge of plumbing codes and the ability to collaborate with clients, engineering disciplines, and construction personnel.

• Experience with complex industrial, manufacturing, pharmaceutical, or high-tech laboratory facilities.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Interest in learning industry best practices and contributing innovative ideas.
