Application Support Technician (ERP)

What you will do

• Provide frontline support through phone, email, chat, and self-service cases.
• Diagnose software issues involving code, data, environments, integrations, and connectivity.
• Collaborate within a swarm support model to resolve customer issues and share knowledge.
• Work with cross-functional teams on software defects, enhancement requests, and customer concerns.
• Follow up on outstanding issues and communicate clearly and empathetically with customers.
• Stay current on ERP product functionality and new releases.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in software or application support, including complex technical troubleshooting.
• Strong verbal and written communication, analytical, organizational, prioritization, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work independently on unfamiliar issues and collaborate effectively in a fast-paced support environment.
• Knowledge of Windows, databases, standard IT hardware, Microsoft Office 365, and application troubleshooting.
• Basic understanding of RESTful APIs, SOAP services, cloud platforms, and network protocols including TCP/IP, DNS, and HTTP.
• Must be based in the United States for this remote role.

Nice to have

• Experience with ERP or supply chain software, accounting systems, point-of-sale software and hardware, or monitoring and logging tools such as Nagios, Splunk, or Datadog.
• Basic accounting knowledge or experience in the hardware, retail, or lumber industry.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, accounting, supply chain management, or a related discipline.
