Senior Forward Deployed Engineer (Fullstack)

Location: Paris, France. Travel to customers is required 20% of the time.

What you will do

• Deliver production-grade customer solutions, including data architectures, custom applications, ingestion systems, and ML/AI integrations.
• Lead end-to-end architecture and design decisions for secure, scalable solutions aligned with customer needs and Databricks best practices.
• Guide customers through architecture, implementation, evaluation, and adoption of Databricks-based projects.
• Work with project managers, architects, engineering, support, and customer teams to deliver technical engagements and resolve implementation issues.
• Embed with customer stakeholders, from technical contributors to executives, to understand challenges and deliver measurable outcomes.
• Build reusable accelerators, frameworks, and best practices that scale across accounts and inform the product roadmap.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in data engineering, data platforms and analytics, or software engineering.
• Ability to code in Python, Scala, JavaScript/TypeScript, and modern frameworks.
• Working knowledge of at least two cloud ecosystems among AWS, Azure, and GCP, with expertise in one.
• Deep experience with distributed computing using Apache Spark and knowledge of Spark runtime internals.
• Experience with CI/CD, MLOps, ML/AI models, AI APIs, and production end-to-end data architectures.
• Experience delivering technical projects for enterprise clients, managing scope and timelines, documenting solutions, and handling broad stakeholder needs.
