Manager, Medical Information

Location: Deerfield, Illinois, United States. Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.; visa sponsorship is not available.

Salary: $128,000–$176,000 annually, plus potential discretionary bonus.

What you will do

• Manage and document Medical Information inquiries and escalations in accordance with FDA guidelines.
• Provide accurate clinical, medical, and scientific information to healthcare professionals, customers, and internal stakeholders.
• Create and maintain standard response documents and correspondence in the Medical Information Content Management system.
• Assess and present voice-of-customer insights, market trends, customer needs, and changes in clinical practice.
• Support product launches, process improvement initiatives, medical education programs, and conference medical information booths.
• Review and approve U.S. advertising and promotional materials for medical accuracy, balance, substantiation, and consistency with approved product labeling; provide clinical input on product complaints and adverse events.

Requirements

• Clinically skilled and licensed Pharmacist.
• Minimum 5 years of clinical experience.
• Excellent medical writing, oral communication, presentation, teaching, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to accurately search and summarize medical literature and data.
• Knowledge of FDA regulations for medical communications and U.S. advertising and promotion review.
• Self-motivated, reliable, and able to manage conflict situations with responsible follow-through.

• Experience in home infusion pharmacy.
