Software Engineer, Data, AI & UX (Python)

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable Python backend services and RESTful APIs for data ingestion, processing, and distribution.
• Build reliable pipelines for structured and unstructured data from internal and external sources.
• Develop reusable frameworks, internal libraries, and tooling that simplify data-source onboarding and improve engineering productivity.
• Design and optimize data platforms, including databases, data lakes, metadata catalogues, and storage solutions.
• Improve the reliability, scalability, observability, automation, and cost efficiency of production data infrastructure.
• Collaborate with software, data, and infrastructure engineers to make architecture decisions and deliver data access solutions.

Requirements

• Professional experience building production backend systems and services with Python.
• Front-end development experience with Node, React, and React-Redux.
• Experience designing RESTful APIs, maintaining data pipelines, and automating infrastructure.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with relational and analytical databases.
• Experience with AWS services such as ECS, SQS, RDS, Athena, S3, Lambda, or CloudWatch.
• Experience with containerized applications, modern software delivery practices, messaging, and asynchronous processing.

Nice to have

• Experience with WebSocket, Airflow, Kafka, Infrastructure as Code, and cloud-native architectures.
• Experience using AI tools and agentic AI solutions, including LLMs, MCPs, vector databases, AWS Bedrock, LangChain, and PostgreSQL.
• Familiarity with distributed systems, high-throughput data processing, observability, monitoring, and performance tuning.
