Summer 2027 Intern - Investments - Fixed Income

Location: Hybrid work in Richardson, Texas, with a combination of in-office and work-from-home arrangements based on internship and business requirements.

Salary: $33.00/hour based on a 38.75-hour work week; $2,000 stipend payable upon the start of the internship.

What you will do

• Conduct fundamental research and analysis of publicly traded and privately held companies and industries within an approximately $115 billion corporate bond portfolio.
• Present investment recommendations to senior leaders and investment professionals through written reports and oral presentations.
• Gain hands-on exposure to corporate bond trading and participate in simulated transaction exercises.
• Research structured products and liquidity management topics and contribute to team discussions.
• Apply academic knowledge to institutional fixed income portfolio management while developing analytical, communication, and presentation skills.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in college and expected to have completed the junior year by the start of the internship.
• Coursework, relevant experience, or demonstrated interest in investments, accounting, financial statement analysis, economics, corporate finance, or real estate.
• Strong analytical, critical-thinking, risk-assessment, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively and work independently while managing priorities, deadlines, and attention to detail.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States at the time of hire.

• Cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher.
