Senior Software Engineer (E-commerce)

hirify.global builds internal products that support its e-commerce business and the teams managing brands, inventory, PPC, and marketplace performance.

What you will do

• Design, build, and ship full-stack features from database schema through user interface.
• Turn ambiguous operational, finance, and growth problems into scoped, shippable solutions with the product manager and end users.
• Improve existing internal services and build new products when needed.
• Own production services, including monitoring, performance, reliability, and incident resolution.
• Contribute to architecture, codebase, tooling, and CI/CD improvements; review code and reduce technical debt.

Requirements

• Strong Python experience with typing, testing, async programming, and production services.
• Experience designing systems and explaining architectural trade-offs.
• Deep database knowledge, including modeling, indexing, query optimization, OLTP, and analytical workloads.
• Production experience with Docker, Kubernetes, GCP, GKE, Cloud Run, BigQuery, and GitHub Actions CI/CD.
• React and Next.js experience sufficient to deliver features without a dedicated frontend developer.
• Upper Intermediate English required; ability to communicate with the team in English.

Nice to have

• Airflow, dbt, or data pipeline experience.
• Terraform or infrastructure-as-code experience.
• E-commerce or Amazon ecosystem experience.
