AI Research Engineer (World Models)

Location: On-site in Paris, Montreal, New York, or Singapore

What you will do

• Develop self-supervised learning methods for continuous, high-dimensional signals like video.
• Design new architectures to predict world dynamics and physical context.
• Create scalable algorithms for pre-processing and curating large-scale video datasets.
• Build evaluation frameworks to benchmark world model understanding and planning capabilities.
• Implement efficient algorithms for model-based reasoning and action planning.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or a related field.
• Proficiency in Python.
• Understanding of machine learning fundamentals, large-scale training, and GPU/TPU compute environments.
• Ability to design, run, and analyze experiments independently.
• Must be able to work on-site in Paris, Montreal, New York, or Singapore.

Nice to have

• Deep expertise in 3D/4D reconstruction, SLAM, SfM, depth/pose estimation, or point tracking.
• Hands-on experience with rendering or simulation engines like Blender or Isaac Sim.
• Record of research contributions via publications or major model releases.
• Proficiency in PyTorch or JAX.
• Experience maintaining open-source projects.
