Mid-Level Backend Engineer (AI)

Location: Based out of the Jerusalem or Tel Aviv offices, Israel

What you will do

• Write clean, high-performance, maintainable backend code aligned with business objectives and development standards.
• Design and implement APIs and integrations with third-party services, including major technology platforms.
• Support the deployment and testing of new products and features.
• Optimize application performance through profiling, monitoring, and refactoring.
• Build automated testing frameworks and participate in code reviews.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

Requirements

• B.Sc. in Computer Science or a related field.
• 4–5 years of backend software development experience, including building and maintaining web applications.
• Deep familiarity with and daily hands-on use of AI and emerging technologies.
• Strong SQL skills with PostgreSQL, MySQL, or similar databases.
• Knowledge of AWS or comparable cloud platforms and tools.
• Experience designing and working with microservices architecture; fluent communication in Hebrew and English.
