Network Security Automation Engineer (Python/Ansible)

What you will do

• Design and implement reusable automation frameworks for multi-vendor network and security environments using Cisco, Juniper, Arista, and Fortinet.
• Develop Ansible playbooks, roles, collections, custom plugins, dynamic inventories, and Jinja2 templates for provisioning and configuration management.
• Build CI/CD workflows with pre-change validation, automated testing, rollback mechanisms, post-change verification, and Git-based Infrastructure as Code.
• Develop monitoring, health-check, alerting, state-validation, and automated-remediation solutions for network infrastructure.
• Automate data center, disaster recovery, and high-availability environments, including VXLAN-EVPN provisioning, traffic engineering, backup and restoration, and failover validation.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience with network automation and advanced Python, including Netmiko, NAPALM, PyEZ, or Nornir.
• Experience with Bash/Shell, YAML/JSON, Jinja2, Ansible, Git, and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.
• Knowledge of NETCONF, RESTCONF, gNMI, gNOI, vendor-specific REST APIs, and Layer 2/3 networking protocols.
• Experience with network monitoring and observability using SNMP, NetFlow/sFlow, streaming telemetry, log analysis, and correlation.
• Solid Linux system administration experience, preferably with Red Hat Linux, including shell scripting, system configuration, and performance tuning.
• English and Portuguese are required for the role.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Grafana, Kibana, Coralogix, Prometheus, or Power BI.
