Senior QA Engineer (Data Oriented)

What you will do

• Own end-to-end quality for product areas, including test strategy, test plans, risk-based prioritization, and release readiness.
• Lead quality assurance within a Scrum team and mentor developers on quality practices.
• Design and execute exploratory manual tests and automated tests for new features.
• Extend and maintain the Python, pytest, and Playwright automation framework and integrate it with CI/CD pipelines.
• Use Generative AI tools to accelerate test design, edge-case discovery, automation authoring, and bug reporting.
• Investigate defects across the platform, UI, APIs, and data pipelines, driving root-cause analysis with developers.

Requirements

• 5+ years of quality engineering experience combining manual and automated testing.
• Experience creating test strategies, test plans, test cases, and bug reports.
• 2+ years of hands-on Python, pytest, and Playwright experience.
• Strong database and SQL skills.
• Experience testing REST and GraphQL APIs and writing API clients.
• Experience leading quality assurance in an agile or Scrum team, working with CI/CD pipelines and cloud environments such as AWS or Azure.

Nice to have

• Cybersecurity quality engineering experience.
• Experience testing data-intensive platforms, large-scale pipelines, PostgreSQL, ClickHouse, or big-data systems.
• A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
