Product Design Lead (Fintech)

What you will do

• Lead and manage a small team of product designers across multiple teams.
• Prioritise initiatives, manage roadmaps and workflows, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality design work.
• Contribute hands-on to strategic product design projects while balancing leadership responsibilities.
• Partner with product managers, engineers, executives, analytics, and other stakeholders to translate business goals into user-centred solutions.
• Use qualitative and quantitative research, usability testing, behavioural insights, and data to improve product experiences.
• Drive scalable and consistent design through design systems, atomic design principles, accessibility, and inclusive design.

Requirements

• Portfolio demonstrating design-team leadership and end-to-end product design solutions across platforms.
• Experience developing design teams through collaboration, mentorship, feedback, and performance-focused growth.
• Expertise in UX/UI, interaction design, and user research methodologies.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
• Strategic mindset and experience translating product goals into scalable, flexible, user-centric designs.
• Experience in fintech or SaaS, including an understanding of financial products, compliance, security, and designing for trust.
