Junior Information Security Analyst (For Internship Program) (Cybersecurity)

What you will do

• Complete GSOC onboarding and security awareness training while learning security policies, compliance requirements, ticketing tools, and knowledge-base platforms.
• Shadow security analysts during alert triage, investigations, evidence gathering, case reviews, escalations, lessons-learned sessions, and shift handovers.
• Review operational documentation, identify gaps, update standard operating procedures, and create user-friendly reference materials.
• Support security metrics collection, validation, data cleanup, quality checks, reporting visualizations, and dashboard development.
• Explore approved AI use cases, draft security articles and summaries, validate AI-generated content, and recommend effective prompts.
• Produce onboarding records, learning documentation, workflow summaries, incident lifecycle maps, case review templates, observation reports, knowledge-base updates, dashboard reports, and an AI use-case assessment.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity, or Information Systems.
• Basic understanding of networking, operating systems, cybersecurity concepts, cloud and security monitoring concepts, and incident response fundamentals.
• Strong analytical thinking, communication, documentation, and teamwork skills.
• Strong confidentiality discipline and willingness to learn in a structured, supervised environment.
• Eagerness to learn SIEM, EDR, ticketing, and knowledge-base platforms with controlled access.
