Community & Marketing Manager (OSRS)

hirify.global develops Hefty OSRS, an app designed to reward and engage the Old School RuneScape community.

What you will do

• Act as the public face and voice of Hefty OSRS across player communities.
• Build, manage, moderate, and grow the Discord community.
• Create and publish authentic content on Reddit, X, and other relevant platforms.
• Develop community marketing, user-growth, promotions, competitions, giveaways, campaigns, and events.
• Support users, answer questions, gather feedback, and share player insights with product, marketing, and customer-support teams.
• Build relationships with OSRS creators, community leaders, and potential partners while tracking engagement, campaign performance, and community growth.

Requirements

• Strong, current knowledge of Old School RuneScape, including its terminology, culture, creators, updates, memes, and player expectations.
• Genuine experience playing OSRS and understanding of its community.
• Experience managing an online community, preferably in gaming.
• Strong knowledge of Discord, Reddit, and X, plus experience in social media, digital marketing, community growth, or customer engagement.
• Excellent written communication, public engagement, moderation, and reputation-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with product, marketing, and customer-support teams.

Nice to have

• Involvement in OSRS Discord servers, subreddits, or other player communities.
• Relationships with OSRS creators, streamers, or community leaders.
• Experience growing a gaming app, platform, or digital product.
• Experience creating short-form video, graphics, memes, or other community content.
• Knowledge of influencer, referral, affiliate, rewards-based marketing, or analytics.
