Quality Assurance & Quality Control Engineer (Oil & Gas)

hirify.global’s Sustainable Technology Solutions group provides programme management and related engineering, construction, procurement, and project control services for Kuwait Oil Company’s oilfield facilities and technology transfer projects.

What you will do

• Develop and implement project quality management systems, plans, procedures, and supporting processes in line with corporate, contractual, regulatory, and location requirements.
• Plan and coordinate design control, verification, validation, review, vendor assessment, plant inspection, construction inspection, and testing activities.
• Manage non-conformance, corrective action, and preventive action processes.
• Establish risk-based audit programmes and coordinate project management reviews, quality reporting, and performance measurement.
• Ensure project personnel are trained in quality plans, systems, procedures, and reference materials.
• Manage customer quality requirements, stakeholder concerns, independent reviews, and certification of project quality management systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
• 8 years of industry experience, including 5 years of post-graduation experience in oil and gas projects and 3 years in the same designation.
• Thorough understanding of quality management principles, management-system implementation, and continuous improvement.
• Practical experience with onshore and offshore plant and vendor inspection of mechanical equipment used in oil and gas installations.
• Experience developing technical standards and specifications, planning and resourcing quality activities, and managing quality practitioners.
• Familiarity with ISO 9000 and ISO 14000 series, international oil and gas standards, NDE requirements, sour environments, and auditor registration eligibility.
