AI & Automation Engineer

Location: Riga, Latvia; hybrid flexibility with office collaboration, work-from-home options, and up to three months per year working from another country.

Salary: €3,580–€4,160 per month, plus stock options.

What you will do

• Design, build, and implement automation solutions using no-code, low-code, and scripting.
• Analyze end-to-end business processes across investor services, partnerships, marketing, risk, and compliance.
• Translate business requirements into technical designs, integrations, and structured data workflows.
• Develop API integrations using authentication mechanisms, Python, and JavaScript.
• Prototype, test, monitor, and optimize AI-enabled automations for reliability and performance.
• Ensure solutions meet IT, security, and governance standards while making pragmatic build-versus-buy decisions.

Requirements

• Strong problem-solving and communication skills, including the ability to scope vague requests and explain trade-offs to non-technical colleagues.
• Experience analyzing business processes and identifying opportunities for improvement.
• Hands-on experience with JavaScript; TypeScript is preferred.
• Fluent English required.
• Experience with AI-assisted development and LLM-based workflows, including Claude and Claude Code.
• Solid understanding of APIs, structured data, and authentication concepts.

Nice to have

• Experience with Make, n8n, or Zapier.
• Experience with Google Cloud, Terraform, or CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience in regulated or data-sensitive environments, including financial services or GDPR-heavy domains.
• Consulting, business analysis, or process optimization experience.
• Relevant university degree.
