Transportation Operations Manager (Logistics)

What you will do

• Introduce, evaluate, and manage local transportation carriers.
• Establish carrier evaluation systems and improve service capabilities and stability.
• Manage contract execution and supervise fulfillment of service terms.
• Build and manage a transportation SLA framework covering standards, indicators, rules, monitoring, and assessments.
• Manage third-party transportation anomalies and operational risks.
• Develop contingency plans for weather, strikes, holidays, road restrictions, and other disruptions affecting critical routes.

Requirements

• Experience managing transportation carriers and third-party logistics operations.
• Ability to manage contracts, service terms, and carrier performance evaluation.
• Experience establishing and monitoring transportation SLAs.
• Knowledge of transportation risk management and operational contingency planning.
