Compliance & Risk Analyst (Fintech)

What you will do

• Manage the end-to-end process for audits, regulatory examinations, and due diligence requests.
• Support management in responding to reports of examination and serve as the central contact for regulators and auditors.
• Coordinate business partners, third parties, deadlines, and ad hoc information requests.
• Monitor remediation efforts for regulatory findings and escalate potential risks or deficiencies.
• Track regulatory change alerts and related action plans.
• Prepare internal reporting on audits, examinations, findings, and related activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and 3–5 years of experience managing audits or examinations or communicating with regulators.
• Knowledge of the full audit and examination engagement lifecycle.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate with senior leaders, regulators, and auditors.
• Ability to manage multiple engagements, projects, and tight deadlines with limited oversight.
• Independent judgment, strong organization, attention to detail, and discretion when handling confidential information.
• Ability to produce accurate work products and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Professional certification in compliance or risk management.
• Familiarity with a Compliance Management System, Operational Risk Management Program, or similar framework.
• Experience with regulatory exam reporting, negotiation, influencing, and cross-functional collaboration.
