Specialist Smart Plant Engineer (SmartPlant)

What you will do

• Administer, maintain, configure, and optimize SmartPlant Foundation, P&ID, Instrumentation, Electrical, 3D, and Review applications.
• Support offshore greenfield engineering teams through FEED, EPC, commissioning, and project handover.
• Develop SmartPlant data models, templates, libraries, workflows, and project standards aligned with ADNOC Offshore requirements.
• Integrate SmartPlant solutions with SAP, AVEVA tools, document management systems, engineering data warehouses, and asset information management systems.
• Establish data governance procedures, monitor database performance and integrity, and conduct audits and validation exercises.
• Coordinate with Engineering, IT, Digital Transformation, PMT, EPC contractors, and vendors; provide technical guidance and user training.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Technology, or Computer Engineering.
• Minimum 115 years of Oil & Gas experience and at least 8 years of hands-on SmartPlant engineering systems experience.
• Experience with ADNOC, major NOCs, or international offshore projects, including greenfield developments.
• Proficiency with SmartPlant Foundation, P&ID, Instrumentation, Electrical, 3D, Review, SQL Server or Oracle Database, engineering data management, and document control systems.
• Familiarity with ADNOC Engineering Standards and ADNOC Offshore digital engineering requirements.
• Strong stakeholder management, data governance, analytical, coordination, communication, documentation, leadership, and mentoring skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with AVEVA Engineering Suite, Hexagon SDx, SAP integration, Power BI reporting, data migration, information governance, or digital twin platforms.
• Experience with offshore facilities such as wellhead towers, process platforms, central processing facilities, subsea infrastructure, utilities, and export systems.
