Manager of Security Operations (AI)

Location: Onsite in Santa Clara, California, United States; travel up to 20%; after-hours escalation and emergency response required. Relocation is not eligible.

Salary: $133,500–$183,500 per year, plus potential bonus and equity.

What you will do

• Lead security operations programs across California sites, including physical security, investigations, laboratory and intellectual property security, supply chain security, business continuity, and crisis response.
• Oversee contract security services, physical security standards, staffing, resource deployment, and operational readiness.
• Develop KPIs, KRIs, SLAs, dashboards, reporting, security awareness programs, and training.
• Manage budgets, projects, security personnel, and strategic initiatives supporting Global Security and organizational resilience.
• Partner with HR, Legal, IT, Facilities, Finance, Procurement, Risk Management, Executive Protection, GSOC, and business leaders.
• Apply AI tools to project management, budget modeling, case triage, alerting, and day-to-day security operations.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in a corporate security-related field.
• 5+ years leading multi-location organizations for a technology company.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Experience with governance processes, KPIs/KRIs, dashboards, reporting, safety, asset protection systems, business continuity, and emergency management.
• Strong senior-level collaboration, communication, analytical, presentation, and decision-making skills, including performance in high-pressure situations.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, AI tools, and common security applications.

Nice to have

• CTH, CPP, CPO, or similar relevant certification.
