Technical Program Manager (ML/Data Infrastructure)

Location: San Francisco, United States; onsite in the office 5 days per week. This is not a hybrid role.

Salary: $225,000–$275,000 per year, plus equity.

hirify.global is building a data platform for machine learning applications, including the hirify.global Context Engine and hirify.global Compute.

What you will do

• Drive major cross-functional technical programs and critical product launches from concept to completion.
• Build program management systems, processes, and operating practices for a growing organization.
• Own timelines, dependencies, risks, tradeoffs, and program health for major platform initiatives.
• Coordinate engineering delivery with product, documentation, marketing, and customer-facing teams.
• Provide founders and engineering leads with visibility into blockers, decisions, outcomes, and launch readiness.
• Participate in product and engineering design, unblock teams, resolve conflicts, and challenge sequencing when needed.

Requirements

• 10+ years of professional experience, including 6+ years in technical program management.
• Experience shipping complex, multi-team technical programs from concept through launch.
• Strong technical depth in architecture discussions, engineering plans, data infrastructure, and machine learning systems.
• Clear written and verbal communication, including program proposals, reviews, and decision or tradeoff documents.
• Ability to operate in ambiguity, create structure, and work independently.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or an equivalent qualification.

Nice to have

• Prior experience as a software engineer or in another hands-on technical role.
• Experience launching developer-facing platforms, APIs, or ML and data infrastructure.
• Experience as the first TPM or program hire at a startup.
• Familiarity with streaming and batch feature pipelines, data warehousing, analytics, BI, low-latency serving, serverless compute, Kubernetes, customer VPC deployments, model training and serving, and agentic applications.
• Experience with Python, SQL, Rust, or Go.
