Flow Production Tracking Administrator (6-month Contract)

hirify.global, through Insomniac Games and a staffing partner, operates game production workflows using Flow Production Tracking and Jira.

What you will do

• Establish and maintain a studio-owned Flow/Jira Bridge with internal configuration, deployment, and recovery ownership.
• Re-architect Flow automation and event listeners for reliability and security, including migration away from an unstable virtual machine.
• Troubleshoot Flow and Jira Bridge issues for internal developers and external development partners.
• Audit and document integration architecture, configuration, and recovery procedures.
• Fix and improve Flow pipelines for Character, VFX, and Cinematics production workflows.
• Administer Flow schemas, permissions, layouts, custom fields, projects, dashboards, reports, and vendor workflows.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience administering Flow Production Tracking, ShotGrid, or Shotgun in games, VFX, or animation production.
• Hands-on experience with the sg-jira-bridge or a comparable Flow/Jira integration, including independently modifying and deploying Python services.
• Working knowledge of the Flow Python API, Toolkit, tk-core, pipeline configurations, and YAML.
• Experience operating Flow event listeners and automation as reliable services, plus Jira administration and REST API experience.
• Experience managing permissions and information access for internal and external vendor users in a multi-vendor co-development environment.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Nice to have

• Experience shipping an AAA title with Flow or ShotGrid as the production system of record.
• Experience with self-hosted services, containerization, CI/CD, RV, Deadline, render/review integrations, SQL, or BI tools.
• Familiarity with Perforce, Maya, and standard DCC pipelines.
